Calculate Your Impact

At the end of this 90 minute webinar, you will know how many earths your lifestyle requires. Sustainability experts Amy Seeboth-Wilson, Sustainability Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, and Erin Augustine, corporate sustainability professional and founder of Carbon Free Family, will teach you how to easily and accurately use this ecological footprint calculator from the Global Footprint Network to better understand the resources required to support your life.

Together, we’ll answer a series of questions about your personal choices and habits related to transportation and travel, the stuff you buy (including clothes, appliances, home goods, etc), the food you eat, and details about your home.

This exercise will naturally identify opportunities for improvement in each of the major areas of your life: goods, food, home, and transportation. At the end of this course, we will reflect on these opportunities and you can commit to small, achievable actions that will reduce your footprint and bring more joy into your life.

This webinar is part of a series, hosted by the University of Wisconsin Platteville Continuing Education Institute. The following classes in this series are designed to support your goals and collectively reduce your impacts to the earth in a meaningful way.

Registration is $25 for each class or $115 for the whole series.
